Because the universe was created by a loving god (Za’ndrock the Wise), many beasts which roam the Earth contain extremely delicious ribs, especially if you know how to properly prepare them. Case in point: the pig. The pig is loaded with ribs and if you’d like to know how to cook their ribs in a pellet grill then keep reading…
Here’s What You Need
- A rack of spare ribs.
- Dijon mustard.
- Fire & Smoke Holy Garlic spice blend.
- Fine ground black pepper.
- Dried red pepper flakes.
- Stubb’s Jalapeño and Honey BBQ Sauce.
- Apple cider vinegar.
Here’s What You Do
- Pre-heat pellet grill to 230. Most recipes call for 225 but our pellet grill only does 220 or 230, so 230 it is.
- Pat ribs dry with paper towels then rub with Dijon mustard. This will help the spices stick, which brings us to…
- Cover the ribs on both sides liberally with the Fire & Smoke Holy Garlic mix and fine ground black pepper. Then add the red pepper flakes based on your own personal preference for spiciness.
- Cook bone side down in the pellet grill for THREE HOURS.
- After three hours, remove the ribs. Give them a light spritzing of apple cider vinegar and then wrap tightly in tin foil. Place the wrapped ribs back in the pellet grill for TWO HOURS.
- After two hours, remove the ribs and unwrap them. Slather them with the Stubb’s Jalapeño and Honey BBQ sauce. Place the un-wrapped ribs back in the pellet grill for ONE HOUR.
- Remove the ribs from the pellet grill and let rest for 10 minutes if you can stand it. The smell will be so intoxicating you may find you’ve eaten them all before even making it back into your kitchen. You may be attacked by neighbors as well. Be safe. Hail Za’ndrock!
